Tutor Profiles
Abhay Joshi, Director
A Mechanical Engineer by profession, Abhay Joshi has 36 years of work experience overall and 19 years of work experience in the field of Education. He teaches Math, Further Math, Science, Combined Science and Engineering subjects as per the UK curriculum guidelines at GCSE, IGCSE and A levels across AQA, OCR, IGCSE and Edexcel. He is an accomplished educationist and actively mentors and helps students become confident academic achievers.
Helen Tilby
Having acquired Leadership in Education PGDE, Helen has been working in education for over three years, with experience in one-to-one tutoring/classroom, online/face-to-face teaching (SEND inclusive, supplemented with an accredited Level Two qualification in SEND) as teaching assistant and Teach First trainee. Helen can tutor students at IGCSE and A Level English Literature, Language, Geography, Government and Politics, and History as well as the 11+. She has taught across most exam boards, including AQA, OCR, Edexcel and iGCSEs. She has experience teaching a range of year groups from Primary to Secondary. She is proficient with IGCSE, A Level exam preparation and coursework, from setting up content and essay structure in Y9, to thorough feedback and coursework marking for Y10 and Y11. Helen has taught with the National Tutoring Programme in Schools and is currently teaching for Buckinghamshire Adult Learning in the Community
Outreach team.
Zaiba Pervez
Zaiba is a conscientious and driven tutor, having recently graduated from KCL with distinction after studying Chemistry with Biomedicine. Zaiba has been tutoring for several years and has hence accrued extensive experience in tutoring KS2-5 (Primary up to final years of Secondary), both one to one and group, face to face/online. She has facilitated students in preparation of key external exams – 11+ grammar school entrance exams, GCSEs and A-levels for STEM subjects i.e Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
